About Me

Thank you for visiting!

After decades of working as a classical musician and music teacher, I decided to take my life in a very new direction. A longtime interest in psychology led me to complete a Masters in Counselling Psychology and to apply these skills as a clinical counsellor.

As a teacher and as a counsellor, I have always believed in tailoring my approach to each person's needs and desires. Depending on what you are interested in, we might use tools from IFS, CFT, ACT, CBT, DBT, and integrate mindfulness and self-compassion strategies. (Please don't worry about the acronyms!) If you happen to have an interest in meditation and/or ideas from Buddhist psychology, you will find I am a very willing partner on this path - these ideas and practices have been central to my own journey.

I have been privileged to work with clients who experienced depression, grief and loss, chronic pain, anxiety, panic, suicidality, workplace stress, life changes, lasting effects of trauma, relational trauma, medical trauma, and relationship challenges.

If you think we might be a good fit, I'd be more than happy to hear from you and discuss what you are looking for.
